I have the aforementioned consequence, i bought yesterday an xbox one serial s and downloads are unbearably slow. I have all xbox console variants fifty-fifty xbox ane x and ever my downloads from store or gamepass never went below 80Mbps speeds (i have a 200Mbps connection). Merely with the series due south doesnt go past 10Mbps, theres times information technology even stops completely.

I already done all steps mentioned above and nix works. Planning on returning console and just go along playing on Xbone 1 X, which never ever gave me issues.

I bough an Xbox Serial Ten today, updating the operating system was quick,

Downloading apps 800kbps to 5megs, terrible. Games won't download.

I work in networking, Games are TCP five UDP based (for video) speed tests. Something is wrong at the Microsoft side. I accept as well restarted everything and enlightened these speeds are non correct with my home LAN and WAN.

And what is that stock Microsoft answer all about cleaning discs even in the copy paste, bad.

Turn off ALL AUTO UPDATES.

I found out how to fix this information technology's a setting on abode hub 5 in my example.

Loggin into your dwelling hub by going on your pc just type in access bt router in google for the I.p put it in the address bar then loggin to your router.

advanced/ home network/ smart gear up.

Disable smart set up and you volition download at the right speeds.

None of this works.

Its a trouble on Microsoft end this couldn't be more obvious.

Its just non possible that every person who has bought a new xbox is having Internet issues.

Its a problems in the firmware.

What happens is you start a game and it throttles your download but even when yous plough the game off its stuck in the throttle.

Update the shop to see if the update fixes information technology for y'all every bit mines fine now. It'south correctly changing the throttle speeds.

But if your stil getting slow downloads restart your xbox (don't play a game) and yous will get the usual speeds so you can download games faster.

If I become to the bandwidth usage screen and stay in that location my download speeds don't lag and are full speed. Any other page than that and I get a lag out of download.
